We’re very excited about our new high-temperature wire type MTG 600V 450°C. The “Cadillac of High-Temperature Single Conductors” is ideal for Flare Stacks, Plastics manufacturing, ignition systems, or any other areas subject to high heat or possible contaminants, and high voltage.
Our MTG 600V 450°C is the leader in oil- and vapor-resistant lead wire. It passes bend tests and wet dielectric tests after being immersed in fluids ranging from aviation gasoline to hydraulic fluid. Its chemical solvent resistance is excellent. It was also designed to withstand grueling vibration, flexing, and moisture, all while retaining critical high-temperature fire resistance (-45°C to 450°C). This wire passes the ETL ANSI/IEEE 383-1974, Flame Test, the Standard for nuclear power generating stations!
The MTG 600V 450°C features oxygen-free, pure copper conductors with 27% nickel-clad coating for flexibility and conductivity. The primary insulation is provided by inorganic crystalline silicate laminated to a glass scrim and modified heat-resistant epoxy. These first-quality contents are covered in wrapped, braided, and fused PTFE composite tape, layered for high-temperature operations, impervious to moisture, and solvent-resistant to 300°C. Color retention was maintained throughout a 100-day test at 350°C. The MTG 600V 450°C is available with an optional extruded PTFE “skin” for friction reduction.
